Stompworks was put up in 2004 by multidisciplinary visual artist Adrian Arcega. Its designs have only two aims in mind: 1) they should be effective, and 2) they should kick ass while at it.
Adrian started illustrating at the age of 3, and one of his earliest drawings was his rendering of the cast members of Eat Bulaga ("Tito Sotto's beard just amazed me," he says). And he hasn't stopped since then.
Stompworks does various projects ranging from video, web, and print; to corporate identity and graphic illustration. Among its notable clients are Jack Daniel's, Abenson, British Council Philippines, and musician Perf de Castro. Stompworks also maintains ClubDredd.com, and produces its web-based "DreddTV" series. It has also tried producing shorts, and its first playful venture in fan filmmaking won an award for best fanfilm in the 5th Philippine Toycon, judged by no less than auteur Raymond Red. Adrian was also a co-producer, post-producer, and second unit lead artist for the CCP award-winning music video "Dream Systems" for independent band the Purplechickens.
Stompworks has done work for other production houses like Number 20 and Click Digital, doing motion graphics for TV commercials and AVPs with clients such as Joy dishwashing liquid, Tokyo Tokyo, and SMART, among others.
